Thank you for visiting! My desire in my writing is that you may encounter valuable truths, whether in my posts, poems, or books. I admit that while I enjoy the writing process, I strive to write what leads the reader to eternal truths. In my life, I have noticed that when I take out these eternal truths, I fail. When God remains, not only do I succeed, but I thrive. Therefore, what you read is influenced by and focused on the eternal.

Jared Travis is a fifth generation Texan, married to a Texan for 28 years, and a father of 3 daughters.  He has a masters degree in Applied Linguistics and teaches high school English in a West Texas high school. Before that, Jared and his family lived and served in north China – a home away from home.
