Psalm 62

There is salvation in my God,
In whom I rest throughout life’s quakes.
My only Savior and my Rock.
A fortress strong that never shakes.
How long am I the one attacked?
Am I a feeble wall that breaks?
They wait until this wall has cracked.
With lies – their mouths bless and hearts curse.
Be still my soul is my one act.
My hope in God is my one verse.
My Rock and Rescue stand alone
As God – a fortress none traverse!
Salvation, honor are enthroned
In God – my refuge and my rock.
Oh trust the only God whose known,
Pour out your hearts to Him unlocked.
Both rich and poor are merely wind.
When value weighed, their worth is naught.
Distrust the wealth obtained in sin.
Let not the lure of wealth be strong.
Twice God spoke – He will not rescind!
“To you, God, all power belongs,
And in You rests the greatest Gift –
Our hands are bathed with love prolonged.”
Consider now your faith and deeds,
God will repay you as He sees.
